You could spend weeks painting the ocean, and every day you’d get a different picture. The subtle shifts in light, mood, and weather make each day unique. It might be cloudy and you wish it were sunny (or vice versa) but whatever it is, you can find something beautiful to put on your canvas. I like to think about music that way. These songs are my ocean paintings. Had I made them any other day they’d be completely different.
